Chan commented on my post TM Net 10Gbps International Link Upgrade and he said he can’t find the news article on TM Net website.
Know what? They actually removed the news article from their website!
So is there really such news make by TM Net? Or is AhYap making it up? Luckily AhYap got proof. Wahahaha.

Now comes the most interesting question. Is there really a 10Gbps International Link installed? Or it is just another LIE from TM Net again?

After all, our connection to international links still slow. Subscribe Jaring lah if you area got coverage. I hope that Sarawak will come up with more broadban provider so that I can’t unsubscribe streamyx.

Young, actually Jaring also famous in capping P2P downloads. 3 biggest ISP of Malaysia are now blacklisted already. (TMNet, Jaring and Maxis)

hahaha all the post here at ahyap.com is all about slowmyx. Don’t worry i LIKE it!!! going to link to my blog later. well, speeds are always so slow la.. never fast wan…. only at night i get good p2p downloads. but recently also so slow… how are we going to be called a DEVELOPED country… haiz…..
I’ve applied for an upgrade (512 to 1mbps), was told by TMPOINT it only takes 3 days and asked to call back on friday/saturday if the upgrade hasn’t been done. seriously help meeeeee, i called the damn helpdesk for like 4 times (once a day since last thursday), only logged a report for me yesterday(monday) and told me to wait 2 days saying they’ve escalated this issue to their technician.
During this whole process, i was told
1. my line has not been upgraded
2. Upgrade was suppose to be on 10am Friday but nobody did it
3. Upgrade department is TESTING my connection, will get back to me
4. Upgrade was suppose to be 10am but no date was mentioned
5. Upgraded my line on Thursday but need to test connection
6. Upgraded my line on Thursday 10am but not sure why am I still having problems
Who can I trust? My neighbour is running a 1mbps at the moment and I was told my TMPOINT my area supports 1MBps and TMPOINT is just 5 mins down the road from my place. lol
When I checked with them, I’m told my account hasn’t been upgraded everytime.
I am extremely frustrated with the way how things run with TMPOINT.
Just want to add, I tested my connection with their SO CALLED SPEEDOMETER AND RECEIVED a 512kbps connection rate, confirmed with them as well. So when are they planning to upgrade? a simple thing such as a port upgrade takes ages? i remembered the time i tried to shift my connection to a different line and they took so long, even DARED to tell me the technician who was in charge DID NOT PICK UP THE ORDER ASSIGNED TO HIM. I wonder why they employ these kind of people?
Hi Chan, I try Jaring’s broadban at My friends house at KL yesterday. P2P download is getting slower than before. I don’t know what’s going to happen with our ISP in Malaysia. That’s why Malaysian are verry far behind in technology.
Hi Young, one thing you have to make sure is, these brands are “Buatan Malaysia” by MALAYsian. So can you imagine the quality of the services? After all, they just want our money only and giving their so-called number one service based on their best effort policy. Why we are hating them so much? Because we know the dark side of the Malaysia ISP. We as the consumer paying so much money, but didn’t get the best services. We are being cheated!
They doesn’t allow international company to offer broadband services. Why? They are afraid what! Sure lose to international company one. Then those MALAYsian have find another jobs already.
@Orange88: Remember the earthquake at Taiwan that shakes the Internet world last year? I believe I was one of them who call TM 9515 to complain about the extra screwed up connection speed… and the technician told me that there’s an upgrading service in my area and the speeds are expected to recover within few days… but in reality, the problem is due to Taiwan’s shake.
What does this story tell us? pretty alike as yours: people in TM are lying and making up the story themselves so that you can just shut the f*ckup and put down the phone…
I also have an interesting story about the Taiwan earthquake. The internet is breakdown and the Streamyx Reseller booth at Tesco, Kajang, told me that the internet slowness is temporary due to some ‘circuit board’. Once change, it will be fixed.
This Streamyx Reseller, is either didn’t read newspaper or didn’t use Streamyx at all! In Malaysia, we have people who don’t use Streamyx serve as Streamyx customer support staff at TM and we have Streamyx Reseller who sell us Streamyx service who never uses Streamyx themselves.
I’ve subscribeb for 1mb streamyx package about 2 weeks ago, for the first day my torrent speed is about 100KB/s something and i can surfing while using torrent client, but as today my maximum torrent speed is only about 5KB/s and i can’t even surfing while using torrent client, what the hell is wrong with them…i feel very sad about this…i can assure you that the main reason people want to have their own internet is for using torrent…=(
It’s okay if you dont use the product you’re selling, but hey, at least do some homework before you speak la… the story just reminds me of Tengku Adnan, who shamelessly claims that most bloggers are jobless women that put lies online.
I recommend you to change your name from streamyx-sux to streamyx-fucked cuz hell, they always fucked our internet experience! >_

Well i just found out that the stream stream like to cover cover cover one. What i mean is, if you look at the Announcement page of tmnut, you will notice only Aug 28 and something is missing… Where is the Aug 21?

and you will notice the diff… wow nice cover, but not all covered…. I wish that whenever they upgrade or anything, try not to affect whole area, instead of announcing only this and that area affected, and while on the phone, the support will say, well mam/sir, your line look ok wo.. no problem.. check your modem, unplug it and plug again… man… if they saw the computer screen mentioned, “Try unscrewed the modem and plug it back” and say the same thing to the customer.. it will make the whole malaysia scratching their head, is this really stream stream or screen screen only???….

10 gbps upgrade by tmnet u must be kidding me. Actually the streamyx is fuckest not the fastest broadband in the world. I have 100.00 mbps but when i want to loading a video it take a time about 3 or 4hours sometimes the loading video is failed. I have to repeat again and again. It sucks man, by the way the connection to internet are shit .Why i said that it is because the connection sometimes on and off. I am from subang jaya but the quality about streamyx is sux. Why they are hired some of the people like this. I am hoping that streamyx should hired from the japanese or western people and learning from them. They are the proffesional handling with the gadget. By the way tmnet is a liar, if 10gbps are installed in malaysia. This website should not exist. And they are no hater about streamyx again. The service are very poor and the company should being shutdown immediately. Thank you.
