Nice post buddy. By the way I was VERY *#!@#%!! once. I’m a Form 1 student (yeah, Malaysian Chinese and i know hokien) and once when i was on a “bas sekolah(van)” i took out a paper and accidentally “fall” it out of the window. Holy *****@$@!!!@@#$%^& !!! its a very important exercise paper and i yelled ” Angke teng chia! Angkee!” and I rushed about 90m i think to pick up that paper and ran back chasing the van. What word to descirbe that me?

I think sohai is not used as regularly as mahai. Mahai is used more regularly in our everyday conversation and it’s a very good expressive word. For example

1.Wah just now i kena caught talking on the handphone while driving by the police lah, mahai!!

2. Mahai stop playing around lah!!

3. Makahai you wanna fight izzit???

See? it’s so convenient to use.

im also dota kaki ^o^…
in dota, “cibai”(cb) is the most common word. whenever some things happen eg : someone lagging, get killed , ks-ed n etc, the word ‘cb’ will proudly appear.
originally, “cibai” or cb is a hokkien word referring to vagina. how it become a word so popularly used to scold or call people is still unknown.
cases : ur line dc when ur owning(dota), MVPing(RO), bossing(maplestory/ WOW), beyond godlike streak ended, or when ur gf is disturbed by other guys (esp more lengzai than u)
example of usage : diu niama geh cibai ar ( fuck your mom’s vagina)

p/s : eventhough it has nothing to do with the person’s mom’s precious part, but this phrase is such popular in nowdays modern world esp in parts of HongKong and Malaysia.

besides, noob is the most used word. “noob” will come out when u lanci enemy after u pawned him, scolding allied teammates n etc. in addition, “noob” can be friendly at times for jokinly scolding ur friends. usually, noob can be combined with the word “hai” as well to produce a phrase called “noobhai” which is quite rude but once accustomed to it, it will be ok to use it on ur friends. most prolly, girls will get offended to this word coz they dun usually understand meanings of “noob” and “gg-ed” as they do not dota. they understand the word “hai” n will get misunderstood.
so guys, becareful to use this special phrase.
last but not least, the combination of cb and noob is among the foulest phrase u will c in gaming world. cb itself is quite or maybe a very rude word and combined with noob (cbnoob) is very rude. case study of the usage of this unique phrase is when enemy using maphack, lagger, leaver or more lengzai than u.
