Why Taiwan Earthquake Affects You and Me?
Dec 27th, 2006 by AhYap
Because of the Taiwan earthquake, the underwater Internet cable is damaged and our Streamyx is down… at least this is a better than “a submarine has accidentally collide with on our internet cable”.
No internet for the next few days (weeks?). Take the time to relax and happy holidays to all (Christmas and New Year).
p/s Our earth is sicked now, we have unexpected flood in Johor, have unexpected Tsunami, have serious Katrina and Rita in the US, have abnormal strong wind that strike Vietnam and Philippines lately… my friend just got back from Sydney, Australia. It is Summer in Australia. The Australian told him that it is normally very hot in the summer until you have to remove your shirt but NOW it is God-Damn Cold!

Good call on the holiday as both of us are heading to KL these two days.
But seriously, i’m considering to call up streamyx billing section for a write off on the January bill.
By the way, i first called Streamyx support center yesterday early morning and the operator told me that its a minor issue on the International port and it should be fixed in a few hours.
Conslusion? Streamyx operator keeps sin-kar-lan to wipe shit off from their ass.
diu,
singapore line also damn slow. dont put the line in taiwan, it’s time to move to singapore or ipoh.
I am BOILING …
I read the book ‘Good to Great’ by Jim Collins when I can’t use the internet for the last few days. Know what, TM-NET is exactly the kind of business that can not become great! They don’t take responsible for problems that occurred but instead blame something else. They blame the flood in Johor. They blame the earthquake in Taiwan. They blame P2P and Torrent users. They blame people watching YouTube videos. They blame users forwarding emails to friends …
They blame when they are problems! Instead of admitting the fact and stand up to resolve it.
